Depuis 1969, Watertoren Groenendijk est un phare familier et emblématique dans le paysage d'Oostduinkerke. Ce géant blanc accueille les résidents et vacanciers depuis l'autoroute à la frontière entre Coxyde et Nieuport. Autrefois, l'aspect saisissant restait fermé au monde, hormis quelques visites guidées. Aujourd'hui, nous changeons cela et vous invitons à découvrir ce magnifique bâtiment d'une manière unique.
UN SENTIER DE MONTAGNE sinueux
Le parcours vers le sommet est un nouveau geste public pour le château d'eau fonctionnel. Depuis la verrière de ce pavillon d'accueil, un parcours sinueux serpente entre les arbres tel un sentier de montagne. En montant, vous sentirez la canopée des arbres et verrez l'herbe des dunes en contrebas onduler au vent. Les sportifs pourront se faire plaisir sur l'escalier extérieur de 250 marches, tandis que l'ascenseur spacieux accueillera tout le monde sans effort, même les personnes à mobilité réduite.
UN ENSEMBLE GRACE D’ANCIEN ET DE NOUVEAU
La nouvelle structure, haute de plus de 45 mètres, épouse la silhouette élancée du château d’eau sans l’écraser. En reliant l'ascenseur, les escaliers et le château d'eau en seulement trois endroits, le caractère original de la tour est entièrement préservé. Les nouveaux composants sont clairement liés les uns aux autres, ce qui donne naissance à un ensemble vertical moderne. Les détails raffinés et les parapets transparents aux points de repos vous offrent des perspectives profondes et changeantes sur le tronc de la tour et le paysage environnant tout au long du chemin.

Ein gewundener Bergpfad nach oben
Der Weg nach oben ist ein neues Zeichen für die Öffentlichkeit an diesem funktionalen Wasserturm. Vom Dach des Empfangspavillons schlängelt sich ein Pfad wie ein Bergpfad zwischen den Bäumen empor. Während Sie aufsteigen, spüren Sie die Baumwipfel und sehen das Dünengras unter Ihnen im Wind wiegen. Sportbegeisterte können sich auf der 250 Stufen umfassenden Außentreppe austoben, während der geräumige Aufzug alle, auch Menschen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität, mühelos nach oben bringt.

Der über 45 Meter hohe Neubau schmiegt sich an die schlanke Silhouette des Wasserturms an, ohne ihn zu erdrücken. Die neuen Elemente sind harmonisch miteinander verbunden und bilden ein modernes vertikales Ensemble. A MEANDERING MOUNTAIN PATH TO THE TOP
The route to the top represents a new public gesture for the functional water tower. From the canopy of this reception pavilion, a winding route snakes upwards like a mountain path between the trees. As you ascend, you feel the treetops and see the dune grass below swaying in the wind. Sports enthusiasts can indulge themselves on the external staircase with 250 steps, while the spacious elevator effortlessly takes everyone, including those with reduced mobility, to the top.
A GRACIOUS ENSEMBLE OF OLD AND NEW
The new structure, over 45 meters high, embraces the slender silhouette of the water tower without overwhelming it. By connecting the elevator, the staircase, and the water tower at just three points, the tower's original character remains fully preserved. The new components are clearly linked together, resulting in a modern vertical ensemble.
